Made it through the first Craft Fair of the season! This is an annual market at a local historical society and I believe it was my third year in attendance. As always, I had a wonderful time meeting other makers, talking about my art, and enjoying the perfect weather. Unfortunately, the foot traffic was quite slow and I didn’t make as many sales as I had in previous years. Luckily I’ve already signed up for more markets this summer, and I’m looking forward to those.

This side of my life has never been about the money (which is good - I’m a terrible business owner) so I’m happy for any sales to help support my craft addiction. I have a full time job during the week which allows me to make whatever I want in my anrt practice and not have to follow trends, custom orders, or pieces that don’t inspire me.
